What BrickBytes is
BrickBytes LLC is a technology product company based in Texas. BrickBytes builds practical software, intelligent systems, and the technical infrastructure that supports them — designed around real-world problems rather than feature lists.
The company is small and deliberately so. It builds a few things properly instead of many things approximately.
The name
Brick by brick. Byte by byte. A working system is built the way a wall is: one deliberate piece at a time, each one placed on something solid. The other half is the software — the bytes that make the structure do something. The two halves are the whole idea, and the company is named after it.
How BrickBytes engineers
The same principles show up in every BrickBytes system:
- Deterministic cores. The part of a system that decides something important should be testable, explainable, and independent of the interface and the infrastructure around it.
- Uncertainty stays visible. Missing or conflicting data is reported as missing or conflicting. Resolution never guesses, and a value should be able to say where it came from.
- Explicit boundaries. Business logic does not reach through to a transport, a vendor, or a model. Adapters are adapters.
- Observe, don't diagnose. A system should report what it measured and let a person draw the conclusion, rather than assert conclusions it cannot support.
- Privacy as code. Data-handling decisions are enforced at the boundary in the implementation, not written down as an intention.
Products and research
Current product development is MoneyBytes and MotorStead — both in active development, and neither commercially available yet. Earlier-stage work is listed separately as research and development.
We list these plainly rather than describing them as available, because they aren't yet.
Engineering work
BrickBytes may take on a limited number of technical engineering, architecture, integration, or prototyping engagements where the work aligns closely with the company's expertise. It is selective, and it is not the company's primary business. BrickBytes engineering capability

BrickBytes LLC was founded by Fernando Aguirre, who leads its engineering work.
