An Apple-first household cash-flow system built around a single question: how much can I safely spend today without touching money already committed to known obligations? The financial core is deterministic and independent of the interface, so every figure it produces can be traced back to the facts that produced it.

Currently a local alpha. Not publicly available.

MotorStead

In Development

A vehicle ownership platform that treats maintenance as a funded reserve rather than a logbook โ€” translating future ownership cost into a per-mile and monthly set-aside. It is backed by a provider-neutral vehicle identity engine that resolves what a vehicle actually is before reasoning about what it needs, and keeps unresolved data explicit instead of guessing.

Monti and Lorekeeper are BrickBytes research initiatives exploring how intelligent systems can reason across specialized product engines while preserving durable context, provenance, and authoritative system state.

How we build

The same principles show up in every BrickBytes system. They are the reason the products behave the way they do.

Practical systems

Built for the problem actually in front of us, not for a feature list or an architecture diagram nobody needed.

Deterministic cores where appropriate

The part of a system that decides something important should be testable and explainable, independent of the interface around it.

Explicit interfaces

Boundaries are stated, versioned, and honored. Business logic does not reach through to a transport, a vendor, or a model.

Clear provenance, inspectable behavior

A value should be able to say where it came from. Systems report what they measured rather than asserting conclusions they cannot support.

AI where it earns its place

Used when it genuinely improves the system, with defined boundaries and a clear answer for what happens when the model is wrong.

Resilient, maintainable infrastructure

Designed for the conditions it will really run in, and for the people who will still be maintaining it years from now.

Selective engineering work
